When you use the Celebrant Calm with Rachel website and celebrant services, some personal information is collected. Your privacy is important to me, so to ensure that you have confidence in our relationship, this Privacy Policy explains what data is gathered, why, and how it is kept safe.

Personal data collected:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Telephone numbers

  • Personal details you have voluntarily disclosed in a contact form or questionnaire

  • Website usage data (IP address, browser type, browser patterns)

  • Cookies - to enhance your browsing experience.

Data is collected via:

  • contract of services

  • email correspondence

  • email subscription service (if used).

  • possible indirect receipt of personal information, such as a referral from someone who to whom you have given consent.

Celebrant Calm with Rachel has one month to respond to you.

How and why your personal data is used:

  • Your data is used to respond to your enquiries and provide celebrant services to plan and conduct your ceremony.

  • To analyse how the website is used by visitors in order to improve the performance of the website and the user experience.

Data Sharing:

  • Your personal data is not shared with third parties except as required by law

  • Or to provide services, for example, via website analytics, or with your consent to liaise with someone involved in the arrangement and/or delivery of your ceremony

  • There is an option on the booking form for you to provide a non-disclosure agreement form (NDA) if specifically required.

Data Storage:

  • Your information is securely stored in online files, email systems and the Squarespace website platform.

  • Reasonable measures are taken to keep your personal data secure from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure.

  • Your contact information is retained for as long as necessary to provide celebrant services and comply with legal obligations, i.e. during the consultation and ceremony design and for 12 months following ceremony delivery.

  • Or longer with your explicit consent, for example, for reviews or photos that you have given permission to be used in a website gallery.

  • Your personal information will then be disposed of by anonymisation of the records.

  • Analytics data is retained according to Squarespace policies.
